Baked beer chicken
Baked beer chicken.
A recipe with a lot of personality. Also, to prepare these chicken thighs, you can use almost any beer you can think of. From a normal blonde, to a toast through a black one. The result will be completely different in each case. In this case, in particular, we are going to use chicken thighs and beer, a blonde, normal beer. As a result, a recipe with a lot of personality that you will surely repeat. To prepare this chicken with baked beer you will need these ingredients:
INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE:
4 full chicken thighs
4 medium potatoes
2 onions
1 can of beer
dried thyme
dried rosemary
salt and pepper
olive oil
RECIPE OF THE CHICKEN BEER OVEN:
1.- Peel and cut the potatoes into slices not very thin. About 1/2 finger thick
2.- We also peel the onion and cut it into julienne, that is, in thin strips
3.- On a baking sheet we put the potato as a base. Cover the bottom completely. On top we place the onion in such a way that it is also well distributed throughout the potato. We season both ingredients
4.- On this onion and potato base, we put the chicken thighs upside down. That is, with the "ugliest" part up. Then we will turn them around and so, they will be directly presented.
5.- Water the chicken with a can of beer - remember that you can use the one you like best. The stronger it is, the more bitter it will give. We salt and pepper and add some dried rosemary and dried thyme. Finally we water with a little olive oil
6.- We introduce everything in the oven previously heated to 200ºC, heat up and down. We let it cook here for about 25 minutes. Until it takes color
7.- After the time, we take the tray out of the oven. We salpimentar the other face and add a little dried rosemary and thyme. We put in the oven again, another 25 minutes, until the chicken thighs are well cooked and the potato, soft
