Baked orange chicken


Baked orange chicken. 
This recipe is typical of French cuisine. Although it is more typical to do it with duck than with chicken - if you want you can prepare it with duck - here we will make it with chicken since it is much more affordable for all budgets. In addition, we will accompany you with a side dish of potatoes that will be made with the bird and the orange. As a result we will have a very cheap and easy to make main course. This recipe can also be prepared for Christmas. The ingredients we will need for our roasted orange wing chicken will be:

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PEOPLE:
A chicken
3 oranges
3 medium potatoes
aromatic herbs
oil
salt and pepper
RECIPE CHICKEN ORANGE OVEN
1.- We put the chicken upside down in a baking dish. Above, we squeeze the juice of an orange. We salpimentamos and put the aromatic herbs, to your liking. Let stand an hour

2.- After the time, we fill the chicken with another 3/4 of chopped orange. Then we put the diced potato in the bowl, surrounding the chicken. On top of the potato we put another 3/4 of orange also chopped and put everything in the oven, previously heated to 200ºC

3.- After about half an hour, we take the orange chicken from the oven, turn it over - it will remain on its back. That's why we had turned it upside down before- And on top of that we squeezed half of the orange that we had left, we spiced, we spilled more aromatic herbs and finally another splash of oil. We return to the oven and leave here another 30 minutes. Until it is very golden

Very easy to make this baked orange wing chicken. It can serve as a Christmas dinner as a normal day meal.
